A SAD AND BEAUTIFUL WORLD (August 2026)

Winner of the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival and selected as Lebanon’s Official Entry for the 98th Academy Awards, A Sad and Beautiful World spans decades of love, heartbreak, and hope. The film follows childhood sweethearts Nino and Yasmina as they find their way back to each other against the backdrop of a changing Lebanon. As they navigate family, identity, and the question of whether to stay or leave the country they call home, their relationship becomes a reflection of Lebanon itself.
